WHY SHOULD I HIRE SHOWMAX?
A heavily-discounted price is quickly forgotten when a major issue compromises your event. There is almost always a lower price. However, we encourage our customers to take five minutes and compare our quote based on experience, service and quality of equipment. Have the confidence of well over 10,000 successful shows behind you. Value is the key, and with Showmax you will get more than you pay for.
WHAT ARE YOUR LEAD TIMES FOR EVENT BOOKINGS?
It is difficult to provide any one lead time due to the varying size and scale of events, so we recommend contacting us as early as possible during the planning stages so we can collaborate and identify any potential issues when they are easiest to solve. We operate a first-come, first-served policy. Although we hold an extensive inventory, on occasion we are completely booked, so get in touch today.
CAN YOU PROVIDE FLOOR PLANS OR RENDERING OF THE SHOW DESIGN?
Yes, we are able to provide full show design services (floor plans, plots, 3D renderings) at affordable prices. Utilising this service means we can guarantee a seamless transition between the design and production phases.
CAN YOU RECOMMEND AND COORDINATE EVENT SUPPLIERS TO HELP WITH ASPECTS OUTSIDE OF SHOWMAX’S IMMEDIATE SCOPE, INCLUDING VENUES, CATERING, AND ENTERTAINMENT (DJS, BANDS)?
We have a large referral list of qualified, preferred venues and suppliers in many areas that we are happy to recommend. We understand how important every element is to the success of your event.
WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS?
We operate standard terms across all clients, with a sixty-six percent (66%) deposit a minimum of two weeks prior to the show date. This deposit is non-refundable and ensures equipment and crew availability. The balance is due no later than 3:00PM two business days prior to load-in commencing. Should the balance payment not be received, Showmax reserves the right to hold vehicles and crew from leaving the warehouse until full payment is received.
DOES SHOWMAX HAVE INSURANCE AND WCB COVERAGE?
Yes, we have over $5 million in general liability coverage. In addition, we are registered and up-to-date on all of our Worker’s Compensation Board coverages.
WHEN DO I NEED TO HAVE MY POWERPOINT AND VIDEO PRESENTATION READY?
We prefer to arrange a video content meeting to review all your video clips and PowerPoint presentations so we can guarantee that everything is 100% prior to the broadcast. All video content must be submitted no later than one week in advance of your show.
WHAT SHOULD I DO ABOUT LAST MINUTE REQUESTS?
As your show partner we want to make sure that we have you covered. Last minute changes and requests are part of every event, but we encourage our clients to inform us of any changes as soon as possible so we can work together to find a realistic solution.
HOW DO YOU WANT THE CONTRACT SUBMITTED?
Please sign and email a copy of the confirmed event contract to our office. Our office manager will follow up with you to confirm payment and contractual arrangements.
DO YOU PROVIDE EVENT MANAGERS?
Yes, we have a number of event managers on our staff that would be happy to look after the planning and execution of your entire event. We strongly recommend this service so you can focus on the executive aspects of the event instead of being on the front lines.
WE ARE HOLDING A FUNDRAISER. CAN YOU SPONSOR OUR EVENT?
Showmax understands the importance of giving back to the community and sponsors a large number of charity events each year. Our many charitable commitments are usually allocated one year in advance. However, you are welcome to email us about your event and one of our account managers will be happy to discuss it with you.
CAN WE PROVIDE OUR OWN OPERATOR OR SHOW TECHNICIAN?
Yes, however our own systems technician will still need to be present to supervise use of our equipment.
DOES SHOWMAX RENT EQUIPMENT TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC?
We are a full-service event production company. Although we do offer business-to-business rentals to qualified event producers and production companies, due to the high value of our equipment we do not rent to members of the public.
